How to Install f2c software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

f2c software package provides FORTRAN 77 to C/C++ translator, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install f2c

f2c is installed in your system.

Make ensure the f2c package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep f2c *

You will get with f2c package name, version, architecture and description in a table
